Quomindo Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions (‘Terms’) govern your use of www.quomindo.com. By using our website, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms are intended to protect both Quomindo and its customers. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to read and understand them.

1.2 These Terms are effective from 25th April 2024. By using quomindo.com you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.3 These Terms may change in the future; any updated Terms will be posted on quomindo.com.

2. Definitions

 

2.1 In these Terms the following definitions apply unless context requires otherwise:

'Accessories' refers to any items sold by Quomindo other than Laptop Monocoques

'Buyer' refers to either an individual, individuals or a company or organisation purchasing from quomindo.com

'Monocoque' refers to any model of Laptop Monocoque sold by Quomindo

'Purchase' refers to the process of buying any items from quomindo.com

'Returns' refers to the act of physically returning purchased items back to Quomindo

'Warranty' refers to the 12 month warranty offered by Quomindo on Monocoques and accessories

3. Purchases

3.1 All purchases made on quomindo.com are final; it is the responsibility of the Buyer to carefully select and accept their purchase decisions. With the exception of warranty claims or having received the wrong items, purchases will not be cancelled, exchanged or refunded for any reason including but not limited to;  the Buyer having a change of mind, the Buyer no longer requiring the purchased items or the Buyer having purchased the wrong items and wishes to exchange or have them refunded.

4. Returns and Exchanges

4.1 Purchased items can not be returned to Quomindo (See Clause 3 - Purchases) and Quomindo is under no obligation to accept returns. For the return of items under a warranty claim please see Clause 5 of our Terms. For the return of items damaged in transit please see Clause 6 of our Terms.

4.2 Purchased Items can not be exchanged for other items and Quomindo is under no obligation to facilitate the  exchange of purchased items for other items.

4.3 If  you have received  items other than the items you actually purchased you are entitled to return these items to receive your ordered items. The process for returning incorrect items to Quomindo begins with contacting sales@quomindo.com and providing details of the incorrect items. You will then receive instructions on how to return the incorrect items. You will be shipped the correct items as quickly as possible.

5. Warranty

5.1 All items purchased from Quomindo come with a full 12 month warranty against defects in workmanship. The warranty starts from the date the item is received by the buyer.

5.2 As all Monocoques are individually made by hand, there is a slight variance from Monocoque to Monocoque due to the nature of the composite materials used; these small variances do not constitute a defect as they in no way impair the use or functionality of the Monocoque and therefore are not covered by the warranty. These small variances can include but are not limited to: small gaps between doors and edges, small gaps between drawers and slight angle deviations on surfaces.

5.3 The warranty does not cover:

a. Deliberate physical damage caused by the Buyer which results in the Monocoque or any accessories being unable to be used and/or becoming either partially or fully inoperable or the Monocoque becoming split, warped or dented.

b. Normal 'wear and tear' damage, including but not limited to: scuffs, abrasions, scratches, gouges, cuts, chips, stains or other discolouration that impacts the Monocoque or its accessories that would come from normal daily use of the Monocoque or its accessories.

c. Damage or alterations caused by the buyer making modifications to the Monocoque including but not limited to: repainting or recolouring, polishing the Monocoque with abrasive tools and/or materials, applying stickers or other non-Quomindo accessories or decorations to the Monoqocue or accessories, fitting non-Quomindo accessories internally or externally within the Monocoque, physically drilling or cutting into any part of the Monocoque, choosing to clean the Monocoque or its accessories with any organic solvents, inflicting deliberate or accidental physical damage on the Monocoque or its accessories which results in the aesthetics of the Monocoque or its accessories being degraded.

d. Damage arising from using the Monocoque or accessories for applications for which they are not intended

5.4 Should the Buyer believe that they are entitled to either a replacement or refund under warranty the process for initiating a warranty claim is:

a. The Buyer must contact Quomindo at sales@quomindo.com to begin the Warranty Process. Quomindo will then provide the Buyer with further instructions which may include requiring the Buyer to provide photographic or other evidence of defect(s).

b. The Buyer will be provided with instructions on how to return items to Quomindo. The buyer is to return all items being claimed under Warranty in their original packaging if possible, including with all original documents supplied at the time of purchase. 

c. Items being returned to Quomindo under warranty must be sent by the Buyer via Registered Post or via a shipping option that demonstrates pick-up and delivery so that both parties can see when an item has been sent and when it was delivered to Quomindo

d. Quomindo will endeavour to assess all returned items within 3 working days of receiving them. The Buyer will be informed of when we receive them, and given an estimate of when we will have a decision on warranty for them.

e. Based upon our assessment of the returned items, should a warranty claim be approved, the client will be informed immediately and provided with the choice of replacement like-for-like items or a full refund for the amount paid for returned items.

f. Refunds must be made on the same credit card as the purchase was made. If this is not possible and the Buyer wishes to be refunded on a different card, the Buyer might be asked to provide further details to confirm their identity. This is solely for anti-fraud purposes.

g. The Buyer, should they choose a like-for-like replacement will not be charged for shipping or freight for the replacement items.

h. Quomindo is not responsible for any items that are lost or damaged when being retuned to Quomindo. In the event an item being claimed under warranty is lost in transit to Quomindo, then Quomindo is not obligated to provide a refund or like-for-like replacement

6. Lost or Damaged in Transit

6.1 If a Buyer believes that their purchase has been damaged in transit, they are required to provide photographic evidence to Quomindo immediately by contacting sales@quomindo.com. Quomindo will liaise with the shipping provider and keep the customer informed. If it has been demonstrated that the Buyers purchase has indeed been damaged in transit, the customer will be provided with instructions on how to return the damaged order so they can receive a like-for-like replacement.

6.2 If a Buyer does not receive their purchase from Quomindo within the time frame provided at the time of purchase, they are to contact sales@quomindo.com and we will follow up with the shipping provider and provide the customer with an updated delivery time frame. Please note that depending on your country and location, delivery may take up to 4 weeks and may be delayed for a variety of factors outside our control.

6.3 If a purchase is lost due to the incorrect address being provided at the time of purchase, it is not the responsibility of Quomindo to provide a replacement order or refund.

6.4 If a purchase is lost due to the shipping provider, Quomindo will send a replacement order to the Buyer once the shipping provider accepts responsibility for losing the shipment.

6.5 If a purchase has been delivered successfully but is stolen prior to the Buyer receiving it, this is not the responsibility of Quomindo and a replacement order or refund will not be provided.
